Project 64: Peach

If I have kept track correctly, this is my last color for Project 64.

This photo was taken at a pet shop in January, not October. I think there is plenty of peach in the first witch's face as well as the rocks on the bottom of the tank.

Wow.  I can't believe I'm done!  I really have enjoyed this project.

Project 64: Cornflower

I had forgotten that I actually did shoot this photo specifically for cornflower.  When the last colors were posted almost three weeks ago, this was fresh in my mind. 

Such a cheery photo for cornflower.

Project 64: Violet

When I saw this geode at our local Children's Museum, I remembered that I needed to capture violet, so this photo was taken with Project 64 in mind.

Project 64: Granny Smith Apple

I wish I had paid more attention to the colors I needed when I had all the Easter candy around.

This was something I created, based on something I saw on Pinterest.

It's been over a month since I had any posts for Project 64.








The last five weeks of colors were posted all at once, so I will see what I get.  They will not necessarily be in order.

Project 64: Tan

Tan was the color at Project 64 a few weeks ago:

My tan kitties fit the bill quite nicely for this color.

Project 64: Violet Red

This week's color is violet red:

I do try to get a photo with a predominance of the color.  In this case, though, I am going to deviate because I just like this photo a lot and am pleased with how sharp the marbles are.

A pretty orchid sky greeted us on the day of hearts and flowers.

Project 64: Sky Blue

The color this week is Sky Blue.

Not a heck of a lot of sky blue these days in nature.  I'm going with this photo of my daughter at one of the Lowe's Build and Grow workshops from a few weeks ago.

Project 64: Yellow

The color at Project 64 is yellow, such a happy, sunny color for the drabness all around us this time of year.

I have been waiting for yellow to be able to use this photo.

My daughter and her school friend before their ice skating recital.  Ironically, the show's theme was "colors" and their number was "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini".

Project 64: Brown

This week's color was brown.

 Plenty of this color outside these days, but I turned to my kitchen:

These were delicious!  Peanut butter and Nutella cookies.  The edges of some of the cookies and some of the Nutella stripes best match the brown.

Project 64: Blue Green

The color at Project 64 is blue green:

This shade reminds me of Pacific Blue and Cerulean from last spring. I never realized how many hues of Crayola crayons are very similar.

Anyway, I found Blue Green when I took the kids to a children's museum on Sunday.

This is a huge Candy Land game board.  It's the original, probably from the 1950s.  The blue green is in the title banner as well as the squares.

Project 64: Wild Strawberry

The color at Project 64 is Wild Strawberry.

I found some in both her shirt and I think the heart on the necklace is an even better match.

Project 64: Green

The color at Project 64 is green.

You'd think with Christmas around that there would be lots of green opportunity with trees, but they aren't the right color.  We went back to the botanic garden that I visited for my mahogany entry and got this green, which is on a tree, but not the tree itself:

If you can't tell, I loved these exhibits at the botanic garden.  This was the first year we visited, but it won't be the last!

Project 64: Silver

The color this week is silver.

Silver is such an appropriate color for this week:
